Our Client, a leader in the Irish FMCG Market is looking to recruit for an Experienced Account Manager to assist the Managing Directors with the expansion of this major account nationwide.
This Company is Irish owned and has grown hugely over the last 30 years, it now holds the leading position within it’s sector in Ireland and is looking for an ambitious, sales driven Account Manager with a proven track record to push this successful business forward. This Company supplies their products to all of the major retailers in Ireland, continuing to grow their portfolio nationwide.
The Head office is located in Monaghan so the successful candidate must be flexible to travel to Monaghan and to visit clients nationwide
Essential Requirements & Skills
Proven Account Management skills required in order to create, maintain and enhance customer relationships.
Minimum of 4/5 years of Account Management experience within a similar sector of the industry.
Good working knowledge of EPOS and Microsoft Excel.
A good understanding of what it takes to maintain and develop the most productive client relationships.
Must be able to quickly understand the client, their products and their industry.
Beyond an initial training period must be able to describe the elements required to produce an effective campaign Experience in managing project’s campaigns, coordinating team members, developing timetables and setting deadlines in order to achieve client objectives.
Ability to lead a project using own initiative and working as part of a team.
Ability to create and maintain accurate / accessible and organized documentation.
Ability to present campaign results and strategy at senior management level, whilst considering the variety of knowledge levels within the audience.
Ability to identify and convert new business opportunities.
Excellent report-writing, analytical and project management skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong listening and questioning skills.
Ability to effectively manage customer & staff relationships, promptly responds to queries, ensure promises are kept and manage expectations.
Ability to analyze results, identify and explain any variance from targets.
Ability to use email, Internet applications, EPOS, MS Windows operating system and tracking tools to support their role.
Ability to apply numerical skills to analyze data, interpreting facts and figures presented in the form
Some Duties & Responsibilities
Aware and in pursuit of opportunities for account growth and new business, working closely with the Managing Director.
Lead and develop a sales team to achieve fantastic results.
Communicates the client’s goals and represent the client’s interests to the team.
Provides regular two-way communication between the client and team, to provide strong team representation and set proper client expectations.
Ensures that client issues are dealt with in an efficient manner, informing the Managing Director of any problems that may arise.
Project managing campaigns; developing timetables and setting deadlines for staff.
Producing status reports to each client and establishing individual requirements whereby each client receives a bespoke service.
Ensure account plans for each client are updated ongoing with all current and relevant information concerning the client and the campaign, from the point of handover from the business development manager.
Actively seeking to increase the services offered to your portfolio and increase the income generated.
Responding to requests from the Managing Director in an efficient and timely manner.
Works closely with the Managing Director in order to maintain a continuous knowledge of project status in order to identify potential issues and/or opportunities within the account.
Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships through regular close contact account management which will include regular face to face meetings, telephone and email communication.
Ensures that all processes and procedures are completed, quality standards are met, and that projects are profitable.
