CV Mistakes

Three out of ten CVs sent to companies contain errors - hunttalent.ie the online recruitment site has carried out a survey with companies and has found that three out of ten CVs received by employers contain mistakes hunttalent.ie interviewed 150 HR professionals at some of the Ireland’s leading organizations and asked them to estimate the number of CVs they received containing mistakes that stopped the CV been considered any further. The most common mistakes found on CVs are:

  • Bad Design
  • Poor attention to detail
  • Bad Punctuation
  • Omission of qualifications
  • Spelling Mistakes
  • Incorrect and missing dates
  • Contact details for referees
