Job Details
Our client a large multinational company allied to the ICT and telecommunications industry require a logistics manager. The ideal candidate will coordinate and manage the movement of their product worldwide and be responsible for all distribution as well as Sole responsibility for all shipments and electronic transfer of telecommunication materials. Also involved in shipping, export compliance screening, and preparation of paperwork for freight forwarder shipments.
Responsible for electronic distribution support.
Responsible for filing and posting of all logistics documentation imports and exports. Responsibility for stock levels which involves tracking and coordinating with third party vendors.
Preparation of Letter of credit documents for presentation to the bank.
Preparation of Quarterly distribution metrics.
Co-ordinate International product releases.
Set up purchase orders for all inventory requirements.
Verify and release customer master records
The ideal person will have experience in a telecommunications company or will have working for a general logistics company where they have had experience of a varied selection of product and the logistics behind worldwide shipping of a technical product.
