OTC/Pharma Brand Manager

Job Details

A well established Branded Generics company with large portfolio of products covering three distinct business units; Prescription medicines, Speciality medicines and the Consumer Division.

You will be responsible for the marketing of a portfolio of branded generic medicines, maintenance of established brands and launch of new brands through advertising, promotion and packaging.

Responsibilities/Duties include but are not limited to:

• Marketing and promotion of the company’s Ethical, Specialised and Over the Counter products including advertising, retail pharmacy promotions, new product launches and ongoing brand maintenance.

• All aspects of bringing new products to launch and monitoring their progress in the initial launch phase with continual update reports every 2 weeks after launch.

• Supporting the timely GMS notification applications to HSE for all new products.

• Notifying IPU, IMS & Stada of all new product launch information.

• Conducting market analysis on IMS & SAP to assist in performance analysis and support the budgeting and business analysis process.

• Preparing monthly IMS reports for Sales & Marketing Directors including topline, Medical Rep territory and OTC reports.

• Prepare forecasts for new product offerings from German parent company and regularly update all positive and negative decisions to Senior Management team.

• Liaise with both the Marketing Director & Sales Director to provide support to the sales team in developing innovative ways of achieving product positioning, business goals and streamlining internal processes.

• Maintain and update corporate website with news or new product launch information.

• Report any adverse Events to the Pharmacovigilance Department

• Report any customer product complaints to the Quality Department

• Ensure that the approved SPCs (Summary of Product Characteristics) are being worked from at all times

• Ensure that all activities are in accordance with Marketing Authorisation Holder (MAH) activities as per training provided
