A leading technology manufacturer is expanding their Galway R&D and production site which manufacturers automotive security products, camera systems and vision systems for vehicle parking and manoeuvring. A great success story for high-value manufacturing and a centre of innovation and development – focusing on R&D in the camera market with the development of the next generation new camera/vision systems and supporting technologies for the automotive industry

Their primary focus is on design, production and sale of components, integrated systems and modules for the automotive industry, mainly for CO2 emissions reduction. and ranks among the world's top automotive suppliers. The Group has plants, Research Centers, Development Centers and distribution platforms in countries around the world.

Experience required:

2-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of both in-circuit and functional test
Strong background in PC based testing (Software, Hardware installation)

Minimum Qualification:
Cert/Diploma in Electronic Engineering (or equivalent)
GPIB, RS232 and PCIO interfaces and use
C++, Windows, UNIX programming
Agilent 5000,
Knowledge of automotive protocols (K-Line, CAN and LIN)
The following would be a distinct advantage:

Responsibilities

Responsible for the daily support of Production Test Systems and supporting the Test Department in the development/introduction of New Test Systems. Support of all Production Test Systems.
